Toronto Auto Show 2011

Happy New Year 2011! I haven't taken many photos this year so far, but hopefully that will change once it starts to get warmer! I went to the Toronto Auto Show this year as it promised to be better than previous years. It was actually really good, with lots of concept cars on display this time around. I applied for Canadian citizenship in October and recently received the booklet which has all of the things I need to learn about Canada. It covers the history of Canada and the legal and political systems etc. I can name my provinces and capital cities now too. :)

Toronto Santa Claus Parade 2010

Last week I attended the Santa Claus Parade in Toronto. The event was broadcast live for the first time ever. The Santa Claus parade in Toronto started in 1905, years before the famous Macy's Day Parade in New York. It is attended by over half a million people and is always fun to attend. I tried to get a few different shots this year, because a lot of the parade is similar from year to year. Please take a look at the gallery below.

My 5th Toronto International Film Festival was full of surprises. The official guest list is always an excellent indicator of who will show up, but it obviously wont tell you who the surprises are going to be! This year lots of celebrities showed up who weren't on the official list and this made it even more exciting. I would have liked to get a photo of Thandie Newton but other than that I believe I got photos of everyone I planned to see.
